The Visual Styles Manager is displayed.

If you enter -visualstyles at the Command prompt, options are displayed.

A visual style is a collection of customizable settings that control the display of edges, shading, background, and shadows of 3D solids and surfaces in the current viewport.

NoteIn a script, the VISUALSTYLES command does not automatically suppress the Visual Styles Manager. You must use -visualstyles to display command prompts.

Visual Styles Manager

Creates and modifies visual styles.
Create New Visual Style and Edit Name and Description Dialog Boxes

Names the visual style and provides space for a description.
